NOZzER Watch Combats Fatigue With Perfectly Timed Stimulation

Smart Crowdfunding is slated to carry out strategic marketing initiatives for the 'NOZzER WATCH - the first anti-sleep watch' project on Indiegogo. This campaign is raising the funds needed to bring a state-of-the-art anti fatigue device to market.

Yan Rybachenko, the founder of NOZzER Watch, has launched a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo. This campaign has a funding goal of $71,000, which needs to be raised in order to bring his team’s new anti-sleep device to market. NOZzER Watch uses Active Mind Maintenance Technology (AMMT) in order to help a wearer combat feelings of fatigue that can strike due to the absence of external stimuli, which is needed to keep the brain engaged. Rybachenko states, “You have to know a lot of information to get anywhere in today’s modern information age. It may be fun, however, it takes a lot of effort. Sometimes fatigue overwhelms you quite unexpectedly.” The idea for NOZzER came to Rybachenko when he personally noticed the need for a device that could help people stay alert and attentive, especially at the more critical moments when focus is essential.  

Methods for helping people combat fatigue and drowsiness have been around for years, but all other methods are either unreliable, or not practical for use in the real world. Many of these devices require the user to first fall asleep and then sound a very obnoxious alarm.  NOZzER Watch on the other hand has researched modern technology and incorporated it into their inspired device. It was created to help keep the brain engaged and active, even during the quiet and less stimulating moments of the day. It works by transmitting a current of .2 sec every few seconds via two small electrodes on the back of the watch. The intensity of the current can be adjusted according to the wearer’s personal preferences.  NOZzER Watch also has a “silent alarm” function that will wake a wearer up silently, through increasing tactile sensations via weak electrical impulses beginning at the pre-set alarm time. None of the impulses sent through the watch are harmful in any way. The NOZzER Watch has been fully tested, and is 100% safe.

The team at NOZzER have been working very diligently with all of the essential groundwork for their watch. The whole process, from design to fully functioning and tested prototype, has taken more than a year. As part of the testing process they engaged 31 volunteers, and the assistance of professionals in the Psychophysiology lab at V.N. Karazin Kharkiv University in the Ukraine. The results were very promising, showing an amazing 70% decrease in sleepiness, so the team moved forward to the next step. They are now ready to begin the final steps of bringing NOZzER Watch to the public, which is why they have launched their crowdfunding campaign.
