Stair Lift Made in Gaza Wants to Make a Difference With Their Humanitarian Campaign

Smart Crowdfunding is slated to carry out strategic marketing initiatives for the 'Stair lift made in Gaza' project on Indiegogo. The team behind this campaign is crowdfunding to bring a mechanical Disabled Chair Lift to the people in war-torn Gaza.

A team of mechanical engineers who have grown up in the war ravaged Palestine has launched a humanitarian focused crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo in order to do something for the disabled people in their hometown of Gaza. This campaign has a funding goal of $28,000, which needs to be raised by in order to begin manufacturing “The Disabled Chair Lift” for buildings and areas that do not have elevators or wheelchair ramps. This will be the first product of its kind that is fully designed and manufactured in Gaza. Many of the people in the area who suffer from mobility issues are limited due to the lack of elevators in public buildings. The team behind this campaign hopes to change this fact, and open the world more fully to the disabled people of Palestine.

While chair lifts are already in existence, the team behind this project have found a more economical and efficient way to produce them so they can easily be installed in any building that does not have an elevator. The team is specifically focusing on bringing these lifts to: disabled citizens with special needs and limited income, children's charities in Gaza, governmental institutions, and specific private institutions. The team states that this is only the beginning. Growing up in a war-torn area, they have witnessed a lot of suffering and want to do something great to help the people. They plan “To break all the boundaries and fly to the sky. The sky is unlimited because we do believe everything is possible. The Disabled Chair Lift is our initial product. Our wider plan is to realize a dream of serving the Palestinian people through technical creativity.”

"Our team has devoted much effort to the design and efficient manufacture of the lift. We expect it to become a leading model for disability solutions."

Stair Lift, Team

The inspirational team behind the Stair Lift Made in Gaza has been hard at work with all of the essential groundwork for their project, and they are ready to make it a reality which is why they have launched their crowdfunding campaign. They have already completed the design and schematics, and have a plan in place but it is an expensive venture which is why they are reaching out to crowd for help. All funds raised with this campaign will go toward making this project a reality for the people in Gaza. As an added bonus with this campaign, the team is offering several perks. These perks, which serve as funding incentives, range in value from multiple “Thank You” perks, to various merchandise items such as photos of the people that are being helped, and souvenirs from Palestine.
